Looking for some inspiration to find the Best Family Halloween Costumes for 2019? We’ve got you!
Halloween is a blast. Dressing up with family Halloween costumes is even better. I love choosing ours every year. I know one day my kids are going to want to pick their own so I’m savoring this time where we match together.
We’re a big fan of Disney but there are some really amazing non-Disney options as well.
Make this your most memorable year yet! Hope you enjoy these fun family costumes. Happy Halloween!
1) Lobster in a pot & Chefs
2) Deer & Hunters
The Deer and Hunter is a perfect DIY Halloween family idea. The Little Tikes car was a fun addition (and he couldn’t walk yet) so this is a great idea for small kids.
If you don’t want to make it yourself, you can purchase the costumes online!
3) Aladdin, Jasmine & Abu
We doubled up on these costumes and wore them twice. First was to an adult-only party because Aladdin & Jasmine makes a perfect couples costume.
We then went trick-or-treating with our son. He was 1.5 years old and the monkey costume kept him so warm that we didn’t need a jacket (which is saying a lot for Halloween in Canada). He was comfortable and happy the whole time. We bought the purple vest from a thrift store and cut it to fit the costume.
4) Toy Story
Last year we had an addition and became a family of 4. I love this theme because I was 3 months post-partum and found this a very flattering costume.
My son wants to be Buzz Lightyear again this year so I would say it was a major success. Unfortunately, I left this very last minute and had to settle with a lizard costume instead of an infant dinosaur. The dinosaur Rex is way better and what I originally planned.
Superheroes are always a good idea and never go out of style. Have more members in your family? This is an easy one to add to (The Flash, Supergirl, The Incredible Hulk, Cat Woman, Iron Man).
5) Skeleton Family
There’s actually so many great ideas that we haven’t tried yet. Here are some of our favourites:
